Pregnancy is accompanied with so many different changes. There are changes in your body, your brain, and a rollercoaster of emotions that pregnant women experience. With so many things changing it can sometimes feel overwhelming. I found throughout my pregnancy that journaling was a great way for me to channel all the changes I experienced. But, even better than just freestyle journaling my thoughts and emotions I wish I had guided questions to help me dig deeper than the superficial layer and help me evaluate my new norm. I feel as though being able to to ask yourself the hard questions and figure out what are your truths is a great way to discover and uncover the growing you.
Guided journaling is a great tool to see where you been, to examine where you’re at and to envision where you want to go on this new journey you’re in. Below are 14 thought provoking questions for my pregnant mamas to uncover what’s going on within and to highlight some areas in your life you may need to work on.
- What does self care look like in this season of your life?
- How does your ideal birth experience look like?
- Is there anything you need to speak up and use my voice about?
- What is one thing you love about being pregnant?
- Do you have any fears around your pregnancy or labor and delivery? If so, what are they?
